Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use LeadFinder at joinleadfinder.com. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.

What LeadFinder does

LeadFinder searches public sources — mapping databases and businesses' own websites — and returns business contact details: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, websites and public social media profiles. Every record includes the page the details came from.

What we do not promise

The data comes from third parties and from pages businesses publish themselves. We do not guarantee it is complete, current or accurate. In particular:

• Not every business publishes an email address. Where none is found, the field is empty — we never guess one.
• Email verification checks whether a domain can receive mail. It does not prove a specific mailbox exists or is monitored.
• Businesses close, move and change details without telling anyone.
• Some websites block automated requests, so their details cannot be collected.

The service is provided "as is". You are responsible for checking data before you rely on it.

How you may use the data

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and to the people you contact. That includes anti-spam law (such as CAN-SPAM in the United States and PECR in the UK) and data protection law (such as the GDPR in the UK and EU, and similar laws elsewhere).

You agree that you will not use LeadFinder or its data to:

• send unsolicited bulk email that breaks the law where the recipient is
• contact anyone who has asked you to stop
• harass, defraud, impersonate or endanger anyone
• build or sell a competing contact database
• resell or redistribute the raw data as a dataset

You may use the data to contact businesses about your own products and services, and to keep records of that outreach.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. One account is for one person or organisation — don't share logins to get around plan limits.

Plans and limits

Each plan includes a number of leads per calendar month. The counter resets at the start of each month and unused leads do not carry over. We may change prices or plan limits, and will give notice before a change affects an existing paid plan.

Cancelling

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your leads from within the app. Ask us and we will delete your account and everything in it.

Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk, or is used for anything illegal.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, LeadFinder is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Significant changes will be notified by email to account holders.
